From the first of April, we are teaching every daytill october. Our kitesurfcenter in Duinbergen is every day opened. On request we organize lessons in different locations along the belgium coast.
Group lessons are mainly given on Saturday and Sunday and hollidays. During the week also possible, but depends on the amount of students. Grouplesson 2-4students/instructor. Each step (1-4) is 3 hours. Grouplesson with 2 students/ 2.5 hours.
You also have the possibility to book Private lessons (one instructor/one student). Advantage is clear. In Group lessons we teach 2 students on 1 kite, in the private lesson you have the whole time your own kite, you progress faster.
Detailed information about the different steps and IKO levels you get here. After the course you receive your IKO Kiteboarder card, where your personal level is confirmed. The IKO card is worldwide accepted and an international certification.
The maximum of group lessons per day/person is 6 hours (for example Step 1 and 2) and for Private lesson 4 hours(2 times/ 2h). From experience we know after this you are tired and it does not make sense to continue. A lot of students are able to continue on their own after 9-12h of group lessons or 4-6h of private lessons.
Lessons are given in English, Dutch,French and German. The perfect scenario for a beginner course is saturday step 1 and 2, sunday step 3 and 4. if you have long brakes between your steps, you may forget a lot.
Timetable of the lessons:
We meet at 9.00 o’clock at the Surfclub RBSC Duinbergen, Zeedijk 430 in Knokke Duinbergen.The first block of lessons is from ca. 10.00 till 13.00 o’clock, the second block of lessons is from ca. 13.30 till 16.30. Private lessons are more flexible. For example during the week from 14.00-16.00 or 18.00-20.00 o’clock, interesting for people, who want to take their lesson after work!
